Niederalsen is a village in the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms the northern part of Als .

Niederalsen lies on the Leuscheid . Besides Oberalsen and Schneppe, the only neighboring towns are Leuscheid in the northeast and Werfen in the northwest. Niederalsen can be reached via the state road 147 .

history

The village belonged to the parish of Leuscheid and at times to the mayor's office of Herchen .

In 1830 Aalsen had 160 residents.

In 1845 the hamlet of Niederalsen had 101 inhabitants in 22 houses. 11 of them were Catholic and 90 Protestant.

In 1888 Niederalsen had 137 residents in 27 houses.

166 people lived here in 1962 and 162 in 1976.
