Bermuda took part in the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia with a delegation of three athletes in a competition in one sport.

It was the country's fourth participation in the Summer Olympics .

The youngest athlete was the sailor Jimmy Kempe at 33 years and 91 days , and the oldest athlete was the sailor Brownlow Eve (51 years and 255 days).
