About the occupation

While the government team had started to be very male-dominated, after the appointments in 2006 it achieved a ratio of five ministers to six women ministers with seven male to six female ministerial posts. With a female quota of 55% and 45% respectively, this was the first time in Austrian history that there was equal representation.
