Monopostosport
Roy Pike came to Great Britain in the 1960s to initially compete in club races. In 1966 he drove a Ferrari 275 GTB / C from Maranello Concessionaires. With his teammate Piers Courage , he reached eighth place in the overall standings and won the racing class for GT cars up to 5 liters. In 1968 he retired after a gearbox damage on the Ferrari 250LM .
Entrepreneur
In 1971, Pike gave up racing because he could no longer raise the financial means for further assignments. He moved to Somerset and started a company renovating old country houses in the years that followed.
