Rauschwitz was first mentioned in writing in 1347. In older documents it was referred to as Ruswicz or Ruswitz and was parish after Pischkowitz. It belonged to the Glatzer Land , with which it shared the history of its political and ecclesiastical affiliation from the beginning. The first known heir on Ruswitz was Hans Hugwitz ( Haugwitz ) in 1388 . Hinko ( Heinrich ) von Haugwitz bought it in 1472 . He connected it with his Oberpischkowitz estate, with which it then formed a village community. The manorial Vorwerk arose from two farm estates that Dittrich von Haugwitz acquired from Melchior Rachner in 1588 and from Daniel Kubicken in 1607. With a contract between the Knights of Glatz and the royal cities in 1590 it was determined that Dittrich von Haugwitz is entitled to the beer publisher for Rauschwitz for half a year from Michaelmas to Georgi, while the beer was to be brought from Glatz for the next half year.

After the First Silesian War in 1742 and finally with the Peace of Hubertusburg in 1763, Rauschwitz came to Prussia together with the County of Glatz . Evidence for 1795 is as follows: a manorial farm , a Kretscham , a blacksmith and a shoemaker as well as 14 farmers and eleven gardeners .

After the reorganization of Prussia, Rauschwitz belonged to the province of Silesia since 1815 and was incorporated into the district of Glatz from 1816–1945 . On February 28, 1874, the rural community of Rauschwitz was assigned to the district of Pischkowitz. 191 inhabitants were counted in 1939. As a result of the Second World War , like almost all of Silesia, it fell to Poland in 1945 and was renamed Ruszowice . The German population was expelled from the German eastern territories. Some of the new residents were displaced from eastern Poland , which had fallen to the Soviet Union. 1975-1998 Ruszowice belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship (German Waldenburg ).
