The baroque pilgrimage church of St. Vitus is best known, with impressive paintings on the vaulted ceiling, which the painter Felix Barazutti created between 1914 and 1921. The figures bear the facial features of his employees, donors and people from the region. Among other things, Karl Marx is also shown speaking to workers with a raised hand. The church also has an organ by Christoph Egedacher , who built it for Mariazell in 1688/89 and which was installed here in 1753. The church is dedicated to St. Vitus (June 15, St. Vitus's Day ).
