The town of Brno ditch counts 93 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) and, with 232.17 hectares for the same cadastral in the wine-growing town Sankt Andrä-Höch in Sausaler wine region in Styria in Austria .

location

Brünngraben is about one kilometer east of Sankt Andrä im Sausal . After Rettenberg in the south there are also about a kilometer. Two kilometers to the east is the Demmerkogel and two and a half kilometers to the north is Neudorf im Sausal .

history

In 1934 the place had 169 inhabitants. From 1938 to 1945 Brünngraben belonged to the Leibnitz district and today to the Leibnitz district . The population lived mainly from agriculture and viticulture, today partly from tourism (riding stables etc.).

Festivals and Celebrations

The potato festival is celebrated in Brünngraben in the second week of September .
