The magnificent three-aisled hall church (Patrozinium Mariä Lichtmess , built 1450-1457) is remarkable for its unusual vaults: a delicate ribbed vault in the central nave and three-part ribbed vaults in the side aisles, which have their apex on the arcade arches. The choir is designed with a fine star rib vault . The famous late Gothic Schönbach winged altar around 1500 with five excellent central shrine sculptures and carved wings is South German or Franconian. On the triumphal arch is the late Gothic miraculous image of Maria Rast, a soulful statue of the Madonna with a blessing child, which was probably made in the middle of the 15th century. The left and right side altars are winged altars from the Danube School of Austrian origin. Furthermore, one of the other side altars is noteworthy, which has an impressive crucifix, whose figure of Jesus is provided with real hair. The furnishings show other high-quality late Gothic and Baroque works.
