German Chess League 1982/83

The 1982/83 season was the third season of the German Chess League . The chess department of FC Bayern Munich became champions for the first time . Eight more championship titles should follow. One point behind was the SG Porz , the champions of the previous season. The SG Enger / Spenge , the Münchener SC 1836 , the SV 03/25 Koblenz and the SVg Lasker-Steglitz were newly promoted . Everyone was able to stay in the league. The SC Kettig had to relegate in 1924 , the SF Marktheidenfeld , the TB Erlangen and the SK Zähringen in 1921 .
