German Chess League 1992/93
The 1992/93 season was the 13th season of the German Chess League . The chess department of FC Bayern Munich became champions for the fifth time in a row . The team was the first team in the German Chess League to win all 15 games of the season - a performance that SG Porz achieved in the following season and - measured by the number of points on the board - was even surpassed. The SC Stadthagen , the Post SV Dresden , the Delmenhorster SK and the SG Heidelberg-Kirchheim were newly promoted . While Stadthagen, with Eric Lobron , among others , were able to keep fourth and Dresden eleventh in the league, Delmenhorst and Heidelberg-Kirchheim had to relegate again. In addition, Bielefelder SK was hit , VfL Sindelfingen voluntarily withdrew after the season, which spared SF Dortmund-Brackel from relegation. For the reported team squads of the participating clubs, see the team squad of the German Chess League 1992/93 .
