Schoren is a village in the municipality of Langenthal in the Oberaargau administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland . On 1 January 1898, the former municipality was with the community Langenthal merged and since then has grown together with Langenthal.
Regardless of the merger, the Schoren civic community continued to exist. Regardless of their place of residence, it includes people who have the status of burger and thus the right of home of the (burger) community.
Today you can find a children's home in Schoren , the Schorenweier, as well as the Schoren ice rink , which belongs to the city. In the north on the railway line is the Gabismatte. Next to the Gabismatte is the new Rindermatte district.
