Preliminary decisions

In 2004 a preliminary decision was made with the name Mara & Meo .

Participation in the competition

Like its neighbor France, Switzerland only took part once in 2004, but not as successfully. At the end of the evening, Switzerland was third from last. To this day it is the only German-speaking country that has ever participated in the JESC.
