This article deals with the history of the Republic of Moldova as a participant in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest .
Preliminary decisions
So far there has been a small national preliminary round every year since 2010.
Participation in the competition
In 2010, Moldova was the first to debut in the competition in four years. Lerika achieved the best result so far in 2011 with sixth place, while Rafael Bobeica achieved the worst in 2013 with rank 11 out of 12. In 2014 Moldova did not participate. Although the broadcaster TRM was planning to return in the near future, it did not participate in 2015 and confirmed that it will not participate in 2016 either.
