Seifen was part of the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms part of Rosbach .

location

Seifen is located in the Siegtal on the northern bank. Former neighboring towns were Wardenbach in the east, Rosbach itself in the south and Hof in the north.

history

Seifen belonged to the parish of Rosbach and at times to the mayor's office Dattenfeld .

In 1830 the farm was called Seifen .

In 1845 the hamlet had 15 Protestant residents in three houses. In 1888 there were 23 residents in six houses.

1911 Seifen Rosbach was affiliated.
