Simone von Zglinicki
Simone von Zglinicki (born September 3, 1951 in Chemnitz ) is a German film and theater actress .
Life
After graduating from high school, Simone von Zglinicki studied at the Leipzig Theater Academy from 1969 to 1974 and has been a member of the Deutsches Theater Berlin since the end of her studies .
At the Deutsches Theater Berlin, she worked as the Miranda in The Tempest by Shakespeare (directed by Friedo Solter ), as Nina in Wolfgang Heinz ' production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull , as Regine in Thomas Langhoff's staging of Ibsen's Ghosts , as Katharine in The Taming Taming and can be seen as Frau Krehler in Georg Kaiser's registry list Krehler (director: Sylvain Maurice ). Directed by Alexander Lang , she starred in The Cid , The Sad Story of Frederick the Great by Heinrich Mann , A Midsummer Night's Dream and Karate Billy Returns . Furthermore, she played one of the leading roles in Konstanze Lauterbach's production of Jean Genet's Die Maiden and was seen in Friedrich Dürrenmatt's Die Physiker (director: András Fricsay ). Directed by Jürgen Gosch , she played in Der Reigen , Auf der Greifswalder Straße and Polina in Die Möwe . In recent years she has worked with young directors. So with Philipp Preuss in Rainer Werner Fassbinder's drama The bitter tears of Petra von Kant , and directed by Sabine Auf der Heyde in Dylan Thomas ' Unter dem Milchwald .
Simone von Zglinicki has played in numerous cinema and TV productions. During her studies in 1973 she was still too skinny for the lead role in Bernhard Stephans Für die Liebe? Cast when the originally planned Katharina Thalbach was canceled due to her pregnancy. Zglinicki then worked in the fairy tale film Hans Röckle and the Devil (1974), in the tragic comedy Märkische Forschungen (1982), in the multi-award-winning children's film Sabine Kleist, 7 Years… (1982), in the television film The Other Life of Mr. Kreins (1994), in the film drama The Promise (1995), alongside Susanne Bormann in the youth film Raus aus der Haut (1997) as well as in the TV disaster film Residual Risk (2011).
She works continuously for TV productions such as Tatort , Polizeiruf 110 , In allerfreund as well as for radio and audio books .
