The district of Bayreuth (district 403) is a district in Upper Franconia . It includes the independent city of Bayreuth and the cities of Betzenstein , Creußen , Goldkronach , Hollfeld , Pegnitz , Pottenstein , Waischenfeld and the communities of Ahorntal , Aufseß , Bindlach , Eckersdorf , Emtmannsberg , Gesees , Glashütten , Haag , Heinersreuth , Hummeltal , Kirchenpingarten , Mistelbach , Mistelgau , Plankenfels , Plech , Prebitz , Schnabelwaid , Seybothenreuth , Speichersdorf , Warmensteinach and Weidenberg in the Bayreuth district .
