Street houses is a settlement in the northern Upper Palatinate and part of the city of Vohenstrauß .

Geographical location

Straßenhäuser is located in the Upper Palatinate Forest, 1 km south-east of Vohenstrauss, directly south of the federal motorway 6 . It is a loose collection of houses over a length of 1.5 km on the southeast edge of the street.

history

Street houses is mentioned in the register of the Diocese of Regensburg from 1916 as part of the municipality of Oberlind. At that time it already had 57 residents and 8 houses. It first appeared in the official population statistics in 1987. Now with 183 residents and 50 houses. This suggests that this settlement was formed much earlier, but was not listed separately from Oberlind.
