The Tatra JK 2500 is the prototype of a two-seater coupé from the then Czechoslovak and now Czech manufacturer Tatra . It was built in 1954.

history

The Tatra JK 2500 was drawn by the Slovakian designer Julius Kubinski, hence the “JK” logo. It had the air-cooled 2.5-liter V8 engine of the Tatra 603 , but it was installed in the front. The driven rear wheels were attached to a De-Dion axle . The coupé with spoked wheels, which is reminiscent of the Italian Iso Grifo , initially reached a top speed of 170 km / h. A revision of the engine in the Tatra factory in 1957 then achieved a top speed of 207 km / h.
