Tatras 201
The Tatra 201 is the prototype of a car model modeling of the middle class of the then Czechoslovak and today the Czech manufacturer Tatra . It was designed in 1947 as the successor to the Tatra 107 .

The Tatra 201 was designed in 1947 as the successor to the Type 107 , but only produced in very small numbers as a prototype. The chassis corresponded to the model 107, the body was extended to the rear like a station wagon, but had no tailgate. Officially, these vehicles were designed as ambulances and could also accommodate a stretcher. The newly designed boxer engine , enlarged to 1.95 liters, corresponded to that of the later model 600 Tatraplan .
