Tatra V 750

The Tatra V 750 was a light off-road vehicle based on the type 75 , which the Tatra factory in Nesselsdorf brought out in 1935 .

The vehicle had an overhead , air-cooled four-cylinder boxer engine with a displacement of 1688 cm³ and an output of 32 hp (23.5 kW). The engine with light alloy cylinder heads drove the rear wheels via a single-disc dry clutch and a four-speed gearbox with countershaft, which offered eight forward gears and two reverse gears. An all-wheel drive could be activated. The maximum achievable speed of the approx. 1050 kg heavy car was 80 km / h. The chassis had a central tube, a front axle with two transverse leaf springs and an articulated swing axle at the rear, also with transverse leaf springs.

There was only an open, 4-seater Kübelwagen body .

The successor to this model was the Type V 799 from 1938 .
