The Tatra 613 is a car of the upper class of the Czechoslovak and today the Czech manufacturer Tatra . It appeared in 1974 as the successor to the Tatra 603 . The body was designed by the Italian automotive design company Carrozzeria Vignale . The air-cooled 3.5-liter V8 engine was installed above the driven rear axle. During his production time he experienced several model updates . The version number was added to the designation up to Tatra 613-4 . The total production of all four model versions was around 11,000 vehicles. The fifth version in 1996 was inRenamed Tatra 700 .
