Tatra Mountains 26/30

The Tatra 26/30 was the larger sister model of the mid-range type 30 that the Tatra factory in Nesselsdorf brought out in 1927 .

The vehicle had the same overhead , air-cooled four-cylinder boxer engine with 1680 cm³ displacement and 24 HP (17.6 kW) output as the Tatra 30. In contrast to this, the Tatra 26/30 had three axles, both of which were driven at the rear . The maximum achievable speed of the 1350 kg car was 60–70 km / h. The chassis consisted of tubes, had a front axle with transverse leaf springs and pendulum axles in the middle and in the rear, provided with longitudinal leaf springs.

There was only a 6-seater touring body with side windows. Initially, a few examples were equipped with the Type 12 two-cylinder engine .

1931 appeared as a parallel to Tatra 30/52 of Tatra 26/52 . He had the engine of this vehicle with 1910 cm³ displacement and an output of 30 HP (22 kW). This type was only built for a year.

The successor to these models was the Type 72 from 1933 , as well as various truck models .
