The Nesselsdorf T was the successor to the S 4 car , which the Nesselsdorfer Wagenbau-Fabriks-Gesellschaft launched in 1914.

The vehicle had a four cylinder - OHC - line engine (37 kW), and was incorporated with 3562 cc capacity and 50 PS front under the hood. This new block engine with camshaft drive by a vertical shaft had been developed by Hans Ledwinka and still had a magneto ignition , but instead of the ascending flow carburetor, a horizontal carburetor, make Zenith. The maximum achievable speed of the 1700 kg car was 80–90 km / h. There were different four-seat bodies, for example tourers, Landau , limousines, etc.

Prince Heinrich received such a vehicle in 1916, and King Karl I received it the following year.

When Ringhoffer AG took over the Nesselsdorf company in 1923 , this car was sold as the Tatra 20 until 1925.
