Tiffany Michelle (born June 4, 1984 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress , poker player and television presenter .

Life

Childhood and youth

Michelle grew up with her twin brother in Los Angeles and was homeschooled . Already the age of ten, she played professionally Theater and was twice in a row as the best young actress for her roles in the plays Alice in Wonderland and The Beauty and the Beast nominated. She later took part in multiple beauty pageants and made it into the top 10 in the Miss Teenage California election . In college , she was the captain of her team in Speech and Debate , receiving awards in the prose and dramatic interpretation categories .

Education and acting

After a two-year theater project and studies at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television in Los Angeles, Michelle made the leap from the theater stage to film. She played small roles in the television series Emergency Room , Gilmore Girls , American Dreams and Nip / Tuck . Nevertheless, she continued her theater training at Speiser Sturges Acting Studio . After taking a year off from acting, she had roles in the soap operas Days of Our Lives and DeVanity in 2012 . She was also involved in the script for the short film Breaking Up & Away , in which she also took on a role. From 2014 she took on one of the leading roles in DeVanity with the role of Scarlett "Kane" DeVanity and contributed to the fact that the series was nominated for an Emmy in the category Best Drama Series that same year .

Michelle came into contact with poker during breaks from acting and was a regular at home game rounds hosted by colleagues in Hollywood . Since 2006 she has occasionally taken part in prestigious live tournaments . At the time, Michelle was a host on Sirius Satellite Radio , which was broadcasting live from the World Series of Poker . In 2007 she became the first female presenter on PokerNews , reporting live from global poker tournaments .

In July 2008 she was the first time in the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful, reaching the Main Event of the variant No-Limit Hold'em the seventh day of the tournament.
