Tine Sundtoft (born April 19, 1967 in Lillesand ) is a Norwegian politician of the conservative Høyre party . Between 2013 and 2015, she was climate and environment minister in the Solberg government .

Life

From 1985 to 1989 Sundtoft was chairman of the youth party Unge Høyre and from 1990 to 1992 its general secretary. From 1993 to 1995 she was chairman of the Nordisk Ungkonservativ Union , a union of several Northern European conservative youth parties . Between 1987 and 1991 she was a city councilor in Lillesand and then until 1995 a member of the Fylkesting in the Aust-Agder province . From 1986 to 1990 she also studied at Handelshøyskolen BI . From 1995 to 1996 she was a political advisor to the Høyre Group in the Norwegian Parliament.

From 2005 to 2013 Sundtoft Fylkesrådmann was the province of Vest-Agder , so administrative head of the administration of this province. In October 2013 she was appointed Minister for Climate and Environmental Protection. She held this post until December 2015.
