The 2014 Tony Award ceremony ( 68th Annual Tony Awards ) took place on June 8, 2014 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and was broadcast live on CBS . The awards went to plays and musicals from the 2013/14 season that opened on Broadway until April 24, 2014. The nominations were announced on April 29th. The presentation was moderated for the fourth time by Hugh Jackman .
