Culture and sights
- Catholic parish church Neumarkt an der Ybbs hl. Nikolaus: late Gothic with a modern extension
- Town Hall: Renaissance building from the middle of the 16th century; the house was built as a toll house, the users of the Reichsstraße had to pay a toll because of the Ybbs crossing. The house later became the seat of the Starhemberg family . Today there is a school and local history museum on the upper floor of the town hall, in which finds from the cemetery are exhibited.
- Trinity column: Baroque, marked 1693, in the district of Mauer
- Judgment Cross: (former place of execution) from 1662, is located on the arterial road towards Karlsbach

Most of the population commutes to work in the nearby small towns of Ybbs on the Danube , Wieselburg and Amstetten .
