Wade Andrew Williams (born December 24, 1961 in Tulsa , Oklahoma , USA ) is an American actor . He was best known for his role as Captain Brad Bellick on the FOX television series Prison Break .

Life

During his youth, Williams was interested in music and drama , initiated by his church . However, he never intended to become an actor. After leaving the high school he studied at the University of Tulsa medicine . Later he decided to become an actor. He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts .

Early in his acting career, he played at the Delicort Theater near Central Park in William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew with Morgan Freeman and Tracey Ullman . He also played with Denzel Washington in Richard III. With. Williams later starred in Guys and Dolls , Die Elenden , Kiss of the Spiderwoman , Ragtime and on the Showboat .
