The Austrian women's soccer championship was held for the 22nd time in 1993/94 after the 35-year break between 1938 and 1972. The top division is the women's Bundesliga and was held for the 12th time. The second highest division , the 15th edition this season, was the 2nd league east, which was held for the 11th time and hosted by the Austrian Football Association for the second time. Since the Regionalliga West will be played for the first time next year, the football clubs in the Landesliga Tirol and Vorarlberg played for promotion to the new league.
Union Kleinmünchen became Austrian football champions for the fifth time . The champion of the second highest division was in the 2nd League East of SC Neunkirchen . In Tyrol, Innsbruck AC rose as Meiser and Sportunion Inzing and in Vorarlberg the women from RW Rankweil and FC Schwarzach were promoted to the newly founded Regionalliga West.

This year the mode was changed, because the seven teams first played twice in twelve rounds against each other. After that, the league was divided into two groups: The first to fourth-placed clubs fought in a further six rounds (each against each other twice) for the championship title. The fifth to seventh placed teams played in an additional four rounds (each against each other twice) originally for relegation to the 2nd division, but this year no club had to go to the second division. A win was rewarded with two points, a draw with one point.
Season course
The league consisted of seven teams compared to the previous year in which ten clubs took part, as First Vienna FC 1894 , SC Neunkirchen and DFV Juwelen Janecka were not represented in this championship. The DFC Oberdorf , despite winning the second division title last season not entitled to attend the championship.

Second performance level
The second performance level consisted of the 2nd Division East, in which clubs from Lower Austria ( NÖFV ) and Vienna ( WFV ) played for promotion to the women's Bundesliga. This season, in the women's league Tyrol with the clubs from Tyrol ( TFV ) and in the Vorarlberg Landesliga women with the clubs from Vorarlberg ( VFV ) fought for entry into the regional league west, which was newly founded next year.

Everyone played against each other four times in 20 rounds. A win was rewarded with two points, a draw with one point.
Season course
The league consisted of six teams compared to the previous year, in which four clubs participated. The B team from USC Landhaus is not represented, but the three relegated from the first class First Vienna FC 1894 , SC Neunkirchen and DFV Juwelen Janecka . The champions of the second highest division was SC Neunkirchen , which was relegated last season and is therefore entitled to play in the highest division again next season.

The league consisted of six clubs that played against each other in 2 rounds, a round trip and a second round. The champions of the Tyrolean League were determined in 10 rounds.
Season course
The league was composed of six clubs again compared to the previous year, because the SPG Obsteig / Mieming was not there, instead FC Bad Häring played for the first time . This season Innsbrucker AC , who was eligible to play for promotion to the newly founded Regionalliga West , became champions this season , as did the Inzing Sports Union . The FC Umhausen remained in the league, while the other three teams FC Bad Haring, FC Breitenbach and FC Langkampfen einstellten their gaming operations at end of season.

The league consisted of seven clubs that played against each other in a round trip. The champions of the Upper Austrian women's league were determined in 12 rounds.
Season course
The league was made up of seven clubs compared to the previous year, in which six clubs participated, because the Union St. Agatha was not there, instead SV Garsten and SV Taufkirchen / Pram played for the first time . This season's championship was FC Münzkirchen , who is not entitled to play in the top division next season. SV Hellmonsödt dissolved its women's team at the end of the season.
