100 heads of tomorrow

100 Heads of Tomorrow was an exhibition , a book and part of the location initiative Germany - Land of Ideas of the German Government and Business. She introduced 100 people from Germany who, due to their creativity and motivation, had a promising future .

A 22-strong jury from all areas of society chaired by Peter Raue , the chairman of the Association of Friends of the National Gallery, selected the 100 people. The only fixed criterion was a maximum age of 40 years. The selected people were shown in the summer of 2006 in an exhibition at the German Historical Museum in Berlin in the form of life-size photos with short biographies . As a result, the exhibition made u. a. Station in Vienna and Bratislava.

The exhibition was the start and finish point of the Walk of Ideas through the center of Berlin. It opened on May 30, 2006 and ended on October 3, 2006, the anniversary of German reunification . The youngest selected was the 13-year-old runner Jule Aßmann from Hamburg.

A book of the same name was published in advance of the campaign.
