The Agglutination Metal Festival is an Italian heavy metal - Festival , which annually since 1995 Basilicata is held between the cities of Chiaromonte , Senise and Sant'Arcangelo , in the province of Potenza . It is one of the oldest and longest-running metal festivals in Italy and is considered the most important festival of the genre in the south of the nation.
According to the organizers, around 4,000 visitors were present in 1997. It has hosted bands like Overkill , Cannibal Corpse , UDO , Mayhem , Stratovarius , Carcass , Destruction , Vader , Rhapsody of Fire , Gamma Ray , Dark Tranquility, and Marduk .
