history

Alberndorf is a single farm settlement that was created during the expansion phase of the Franconian land acquisition . The original feudal lord was the Hochstift Würzburg . Probably in the 12th century a spin-off arose on the southern bank of the Rezat, which was first referred to as Steinbach in 1210 . By the 14th century at the latest, the burgraviate of Nuremberg was a liege lord. In the castle Count Urbar of the Office Ansbach (1361/64) were recorded 14 Untertansfamilien for "Albrehttorf" (and Steinbach). In addition to the burgraves, the Heilsbronn monastery also had manorial claims over two properties in the village. In 1268 Abbot Rudolf left it to Burkhard von Eschenbach for life against a fixed interest rate. In the Salbuch der Deutschordenskommende Nürnberg from the year 1343 these two goods were listed as two fiefs of the Eschenbach municipal bailiff. In 1313 Gottfried von Heideck gave his court in Alberndorf to the Gumbertusstift .

In 1460, Duke Louis IX attacked. of Bavaria and its allies the Ansbach Margrave Albrecht Achilles . They looted and destroyed by fire and the like. a. Eyb and the neighboring villages of Alberndorf, Grüb , Hirschbronn , Katterbach , Obereichenbach , Pfaffengreuth and Untereichenbach .

Alberndorf was also badly hit during the Thirty Years' War . In 1637 four of the ten subject families were dead, those who were still alive fled and the place itself was burned and desolate. It was not until 1669 that a new resident appeared with Matthes Braun.

In the 16-point report of the Ansbach Regional Office, 19 teams were recorded for Alberndorf and Steinbach. The landlords were the Hofkastenamt Ansbach (10), the Stiftsamt Ansbach (5), the mayor and council of Ansbach (2) and the Stadtvogteiamt Eschenbach (2). The court box office held the high court and the village and community rulership.

Even towards the end of the 18th century, Alberndorf formed a community with Steinbach. There were nine properties in Alberndorf. The high court and the village and community rulership was exercised unchanged by the Hofkastenamt Ansbach. The manorial claims were distributed as follows: Hofkastenamt Ansbach (1 courtyard, 3 half-courtyards, 1 Söldengut , 1 empty building , 1 forge), Stiftsamt Ansbach (1 tavern with blacksmithing rights ), Ansbach council, Johannis care (1 Söldengut). In Alberndorf and Steinbach there were a total of 23 subject families, 21 of which were Ansbachian. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

In 1806 Alberndorf came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, Alberndorf was assigned to the Eyb tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Eyb, founded in 1811 . As early as 1818, Alberndorf submitted an application for the formation of a rural community with Büchenmühle , Hirschbronn and Steinbach . However, this was rejected. In 1824 another application was made, this time also with Neukirchen . Here too, it was initially rejected. On September 30, 1827, the formation of the rural community Alberndorf was finally approved, to which the places Büchenmühle, Hirschbronn, Neukirchen and Steinbach belonged. The municipality was under the administration and jurisdiction of the district court of Ansbach and the financial administration of the Ansbach Rent Office ( renamed the Ansbach Tax Office in 1920 ). From 1862 on, Alberndorf was administered by the Ansbach district office (renamed the Ansbach district in 1938 ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Ansbach until 1870, 1870-1879 city and district court Ansbach , since 1880 district court Ansbach . The municipality had an area of 9.213 km². On January 1, 1972, Alberndorf and the associated districts were incorporated into Saxony as part of the regional reform .
