Alessandro De Marchi (born May 19, 1986 in San Daniele del Friuli ) is an Italian racing cyclist .

Athletic career

Alessandro De Marchi was the Italian team pursuit champion on the track in 2007 . At the Athens Open Balkan Championship, he also won the team pursuit and he finished third in the singles pursuit.

His most significant successes on the road so far have been a stage win at the UCI WorldTour - stage race Critérium du Dauphiné 2013, two stage wins at the Vuelta a España in 2014 and 2018 and victory at the Giro dell'Emilia 2018, a one-day hors categorie race .
