Allonnes is a French municipality with 3029 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . Allonnes belongs to the Arrondissement Saumur and the canton Longué-Jumelles (until 2015: Allonnes ). The inhabitants are called Allonnais .

history
In the 10th century, the monks of the Abbey of Saint-Florent founded a priory called Aloman .
