Bulgarian National Television
The Bulgarian National Television ( Bulgarian Българска национална телевизия ; German transcription: Balgarska Nazionalna Telewisija; short: BNT ) is the public broadcasting company in Bulgaria . Its headquarters are in the Bulgarian capital Sofia . For radio there is the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).
BNT has been a member of the EBU since January 1st, 1993 . Since then, BNT has designed the Bulgarian contributions to the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), Junior Eurovision Song Contest and the Eurovision Dance Contest (EDC). The ESC did this for the first time in 2005 and the JESC in 2007 . In 2015 the broadcaster carried out the JESC in Sofia.
