The Bank Asya 1. Lig 2007/08 was the 45th time the second highest Turkish league for professional men's soccer. The season started on August 25, 2007 and ended on May 18, 2008. The relegated teams from the Süper Lig were Antalyaspor , Kayseri Erciyesspor and Sakaryaspor this season . Kartalspor , Boluspor and Giresunspor were promoted from the 3rd division .

On April 6, 2008 (29th matchday), Mardinspor was the first relegated team of the 2007/08 season. Due to a defeat against Kocaelispor , the gap to 15th place was 20 points, with only five remaining games. The next matchday (30th matchday) was a sad one for İstanbulspor , last year's ninth lost against their direct competitor Giresunspor and could no longer reach the safe shore. Another game day later, the last relegated was known, Elazığspor . Kocaelispor and Antalyaspor had risen directly . Play-off winners and the last promoted team was Eskişehirspor .
