The TFF Lig B 2007/08 was the 37th season of the third highest Turkish division in professional men's football. It began on August 19, 2007 with the first match day of the qualifying round and ended on May 30, 2008 with the playoff final.

Competition mode

In the 2007/08 season, the third-highest division was played in three stages, as in the previous season . In the 1st stage, the league was played in a qualifying round (Turkish Kademe Grupları ) in five groups of ten teams each with home and away games. After the end of Stage 1, the first two teams from all groups in a common group, the promotion round (in Turkish were yükselme Grubu ) was added, and played here by the rise in the Lig A . The remaining teams in the five groups of the qualifying round played in an unchanged group constellation now in a relegation round (Turkish Düşme Grupları ) against relegation to the TFF 3rd Lig . Both the promotion round and the relegation round represented the 2nd stage and were played with two legs. The teams in the first two places in the promotion round rose directly to Lig A and the last two teams in all groups in the relegation round relegated to the TFF 3rd Lig . While the points from the qualifying round were not taken into the promotion round, they were counted unchanged in the relegation round. The 3rd stage was again carried out in the form of a play-off round with eight teams. The teams ranked from three to five and all the promotion round group winners the descent groups should in the knockout system play out the third and final intermediates. The playoffs were held at the end of the group stage in a city that was neutral for all eight teams.

Beginning of the season were the remaining from the previous season 37 teams, the three relegated from the 2. Lig Türk Telekomspor , akçaabat sebatspor , Usakspor , the ten newcomers Gaziosmanpaşaspor , Bozüyükspor , Afyonkarahisarspor , Bugsas Spor , Alibeyköy SK , Tepecikspor , Değirmenderespor , ARAKLISPOR , Adanaspor , Diyarbakır BB Diskispor have been added. The newcomers were promoted from the TFF 3rd Lig.

The season ended Adanaspor as champions and thus managed to participate in the second highest Turkish league again after four years of abstinence. The 2nd place in the table occupied KDÇ Karabükspor and thus achieved participation in the Lig A again after eight years . The play-offs were held as a neutral city in Konya and played among the teams Adana Demirspor , Etimesgut Şekerspor , Gaziosmanpaşaspor , Güngören Belediyespor , Alanyaspor , Bugsaş Spor , Çankırı Belediyespor and İskenderun Demir Çelikspor . In the play-off final, Güngören Belediyespor prevailed 1-0 against Adana Demirspor and thus achieved the first ascent in the club's history to the second-highest Turkish league. At the end of the season, İnegölspor , Fatih Karagümrük SK ( Group 1 ), Izmirspor , Uşakspor ( Group 2 ), Küçükköyspor , Tepecikspor ( Group 3 ), Araklıspor , Erzincanspor ( Group 4 ) and Kahramanmaraşspor , Hatayspor ( Group 5 ) were relegated.
