Blake Heron (born January 11, 1982 in Sherman Oaks , Los Angeles , California - † September 8, 2017 in La Crescenta-Montrose , California) was an American actor and former child actor .

life and career

Blake Heron was born on January 11, 1982 in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of north Los Angeles in the US state of California. After their parents' divorce, he and his mother Liz came to Burbank via Atlanta and New York City , where he began his acting career in the mid-1990s. In 1995 he had guest appearances in one episode each of Picket Fences - Tatort Gartenzaun , and Cybill and was seen in an unknown number of episodes of Reality Check . Florian Kiesel lent him the German voice in the German-language dubbed version of Picket Fences - Tatort Gartenzaun . On September 8, 2017, Blake Heron was found unconscious at his home in Los Angeles by his girlfriend . After rescue workers tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead. Heron, who had been struggling with drug addiction since he was 12 or 13, had only returned home from rehab a few days before his death. A friend of Heron's reported that he had caught the flu in the last few days before his death and that he had been taking various medications for it. Authorities found several prescription drugs, but no illegal drugs.
