Bonhof was a village in the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms the northeastern part of Leuscheid .

location

Bonhof is located on the Leuscheid in the valley of the Niederleuscheider stream . Neighboring towns are Leuscheid Saal in the north, Röhrigshof in the east and Eutscheid in the south.

history

The village belonged to the parish of Leuscheid and at times to the mayor's office of Herchen .

In 1845 the hamlet had 59 inhabitants in 13 houses. Of these, nine were Catholic and fifty Protestant.

In 1888 Bonhof had 84 residents in 16 houses.
