The Cathay Pacific Gale Well Hong Kong Squash Open 2009 took place from October 14th to 18th, 2009 in Hong Kong . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2009/10 and was part of the Super Series category . It was endowed with $ 145,000. Defending champion in the men's race was Amr Shabana , who won the tournament three times in a row from 2006 to 2008.
