The Cathay Pacific Sun Hung Financial Hong Kong Squash Open 2010 were from 25 to 29 August 2010. Hong Kong instead. The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2010/11 and belonged to the rating category of the PSA World Series . It was endowed with $ 155,000. The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2010/11 and was part of the WSA Gold 60 category . It was endowed with $ 74,000.

Defending champion in the men's category was Amr Shabana , who had always won the tournament in the previous four years, the last three times in a row against Grégory Gaultier . Shabana was eliminated in the quarter-finals that year when he lost 3-1 to Gaultier. This reached the final for the fourth time in a row and was again without a win. Ramy Ashour defeated Gaultier with 10:12, 11: 9, 11: 9, 9:11 and 11: 9. For Ashour this was the first title at this tournament. Nicol David won the women's competition for the sixth time in a row. In the final she won 11: 6, 12:10 and 12:10 against Jenny Duncalf .

The fields of participants in the men's and women's competitions consisted of 32 players each, eight of which were for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard got Dick Lau a spot in the main draw of the men.
