Christ Church (Recklinghausen)

The Christ Church is a Protestant church building in Recklinghausen . It is located on the northern edge of the city center.

The church was built according to plans by the architect Arno Eugen Fritsche , to a certain extent as a Protestant counterpart to the Catholic Church of St. Peter , and opened in 1911.

The organ was built in 1961 by the organ builder Paul Ott (Göttingen). In 1992, the organ building company Karl Schuke (Berlin) changed the arrangement slightly. The slider chest instrument has 42 stops on three manuals and a pedal. The playing and stop actions are mechanical.
