The Concert for Diana was a concert at the new Wembley Stadium in London , England , United Kingdom , held on July 1, 2007 in honor of the late Diana, Princess of Wales , who would have turned 46 that day.

It was a memorial concert on the 10th anniversary of her death. The musical event was moderated by Diana's sons Prince William and Prince Harry , who were able to win over several of the most famous rock and pop artists of the time for this concert. The concert had an estimated 500 million television viewers in 140 countries. 22,500 tickets, which went on sale in December 2006, sold out within 17 minutes. Around 63,000 people at Wembley Stadium, along with the artists, commemorated Princess Diana, who was killed in a car accident on August 31, 1997. Guests of honor included Princess Beatrice of York , Sarah, Duchess of York , Princess Eugenie of York , members of the Spencer family , Kate Middleton , Chelsy Davy and Kiefer Sutherland . Television broadcast

The Concert for Diana was broadcast in 140 countries. In the UK , BBC One and BBC Radio 2 broadcast the entire concert. In Germany, RTL II had the broadcasting rights and broadcast the highlights with a time delay from 8:15 p.m. to 0:15 a.m. Central European Summer Time . Charity

The artists completely waived their fees. Memorial service
