The 1960 DFB Cup winner was Borussia Munich Gladbach (spelling 1960). The final took place on October 5, 1960 in the Rheinstadion in Düsseldorf . Borussia took part in the new European Cup Winners' Cupthe following season , but was eliminated in the quarter-finals against eventual finalists Glasgow Rangers .
