The 2005 EBSA U19 European Snooker Championship was the ninth edition of the European Junior Snooker Championship organized by the European Billiards and Snooker Association . It took place from March 27 to April 2, 2005 in Yekaterinburg , Russia , and thus for the only time so far in Asia .
The Northern Irishman Mark Allen won the tournament with a 6-5 victory in the final against the Englishman Chris Norbury . Defending champion Jamie Jones was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Judd Trump .

The 40 participating players were divided into eight groups of five players each, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played out in the knockout system .
