Offline qualifier
The offline qualifier took place from December 15-18, 2016 at the Eleague Studios in Atlanta . The qualification was held for the second time according to the Swiss system . It took a team three wins to qualify for the main tournament. After three defeats, one team was eliminated. Each team always plays against a team with the same ratio of wins (SN). Each game was played in the best of one mode. The map played was determined by vetoes of the teams (veto order: ABABA; A = team A, B = team B, then randomly from the remaining two maps.)

format
The Swiss system was used as the format for the group stage of the tournament . In this system, the first round is drawn or set. In all subsequent rounds, the leader plays against the second, the third against the fourth, and so on. Teams that lose 3 times are eliminated, while teams that win 3 times continue to play in the quarter-finals. This system has already been used in other CS: GO tournaments, including the ESL One New York 2016 .
