biography
Andreassen and Kikki Danielsson formed the duo Chips , who won eighth place for Sweden with Dag efter dag at the 1982 Eurovision Song Contest .
After Andreassen's failure in the Swedish preliminary decision in 1984 with the title Kärleksmagi , Andreassen and Hanne Krogh formed the duo Bobbysocks, who won the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 for Norway with La det swinge .
Andreassen returned in 1990 to the Swedish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest. With the title Jag ser en stjärna falla she was only seventh.
Things went better in the mid-1990s: In a duet with Jan Werner Danielsen , Andreassen was sixth in the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest . At the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 she competed in her own country with I evighet and came second. Both songs were big hits in the Norwegian charts. With four contributions to the final of the competition, she is next to Valentina Monetta from San Marino, the Swiss trio Peter, Sue & Marc and the Belgian Fud Leclerc, the interpreter who took part most often.
In early 2009 she toured with Alexander Rybak , who was to win the ESC for Norway with Fairytale in the same year .
In 2015 she took part with Tor Endresen as “Tor & Bettan” with the title All Over the World in the Norwegian preliminary round, where they finished fourth.
