François Goeske , originally François Manfred André Göske, (born March 18, 1989 in Saint-Doulchard , Cher Département , France ) is a German - French film actor and voice actor from Munich .

Life

Goeske's parents encouraged his musical talent in childhood. In addition, he discovered an interest in acting. At the age of nine he was accepted into the children's choir of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. He was there u. a. seen on stage as a soloist in La Bohème and Pique Dame . Goeske appeared as the main actor in Uli Brées musical Teddy - a musical dream .

He took on his first role in a movie in 2003 with the character of 'Kreuzkamm Junior' in The Flying Classroom . Shortly afterwards he lent his singing voice in the German version of Disney's Das Dschungelbuch 2 Mowgli. In addition to other synchronizations, Goeske was seen in several television productions. In 2004 the extensive filming of Bergkristall began under the direction of Joseph Vilsmaier , which was shown successfully in the cinema in winter 2004/2005. Goeske played the main role of Konrad in it. In 2005 he received the Children's Media Prize “ The White Elephant ” at the Munich Film Festival and a nomination for the International Undine Award (with Alexandra Maria Lara , Tom Schilling , Mavie Hörbiger , Kostja Ullmann , Robert Stadlober, among others ).

In summer 2005 Goeske played the lead role in Franco-German movie French for Beginners (u. A. With Christian Tramitz ), with 2006 distributed by Constantin Film managed 25 German theatrical productions with more than 250,000 visitors made the top. In 2010, Goeske starred alongside Liv Lisa Fries in the stirring youth drama She Deserved It by author and director Thomas Stiller . In 2012, he received the Young And Wild Award for “Best Actor” for his performance.

In 2011 he took on the lead role in the 3D mystery thriller Lost Place (director: Thorsten Klein), which was shown in theaters in Germany, Austria and Russia in 2013. In the novel, Better Than Nix , he can also be seen as the protagonist.

In the summer of 2014 Goeske was seen in a leading double role for the first time: In the music video for the number one hit Dream by Cro , he plays two candidates at the side of showmaster Frank Elstner who are fighting for a girl in a date duel. The video premiered on June 5, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. on VIVA and MTV and was then repeated until 3:40 p.m.

From 2015 to 2017 Goeske played the title role in the successful ARD youth mystery series Arman's Secret .

In 2018/2019 Goeske was seen in the MDR Sputnik web series Findher as the protagonist 'Tim', who tries to process the separation from his girlfriend with the help of a dating app. In 26 episodes he meets a wide variety of women and in the end learns to rediscover himself.

Goeske has been part of the main cast of the ZDF crime series Bloody Beginners since 2020 .

Goeske has been a member of the German Film Academy since 2011 .

The actual spelling of the surname is Göske. Since Goeske worked more and more in international productions, his agency decided in 2006 to change the official spelling to Goeske. Both spellings still appear on the internet and in press releases.
