Franz Bachinger

Franz Bachinger (born October 31, 1892 in Gaspoltshofen ; † July 7, 1938 there ) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( Landbund ).

Life

Franz Bachinger took over his parents' farm in 1918. In 1921 he was the founder of the Hörbach electrical cooperative and the Gaspoltshofen municipal agricultural health insurance company. From 1927 he was chairman of the Agricultural Press Association and deputy chairman of the Landbund for Upper Austria . In 1930 he was a co-founder and secretary of the Reich Association of Austrian Peasant Defense . In 1932 he was Federal Minister for Public Security, from 1932 to 1933 Federal Minister for Internal Administration. In 1933 he was State Secretary for Forestry and Wood Management. Franz Bachinger was the uncle of Alois Bachinger .
