route

The race with start and finish in the French municipality of Plouay in the Morbihan department in Brittany was held on a 19.75 kilometer circuit, the Circuit Jean-Yves Perron , which the drivers had to bypass eleven times. Starting in 2006, the circuit was extended by 5.6 kilometers to make the course more selective. As a result, the drivers now had to tackle three instead of the previous two climbs per lap. For the first time on the program in 2006 were the ascent of Kérihuel (length: 2.3 km; average gradient: 8%), as well as that in Lezot (1.3 km; 7%) and in Ty Marrec (1.0 km; 7 %). In 2016, the race was renamed the Bretagne Classic and the route led in a large lap over 235 kilometers through Brittany with the aim of better staging this region.
